The electronic media landscape has been hit by financial constraints as major radio stations have laid off their employees as a result.
In recent days, high-profile radio personalities like KOD, Jon Germain, Naa Ashorkor and Caroline Sampson have been banned from their respective radio stations in an attempt to stay afloat while Covid-19 also lurks.
We understand that after Caroline Sampson’s contract was terminated at YFM, other personalities such as Ms. Naa, Agnes Ntow, Blackboy, Killerfingerz, and DJ Snoop have also been shown the exit door.
Ms. Naa previously went to Twitter to announce her departure, which was similar to what Caroline also did.
“After 11 years of knocking out the competition, my time with my family at Yfm has come to an end. Although I may be sad, I enjoyed every minute and I’m not done. Find your girl because I’ll be out there kicking ass and taking names. Embrace the face.
