Three people are in critical condition, and seven others were injured in an accident at Ofoase Kokoben near Anwiankwanta in the Bekwai Township of the Ashanti region.
The accident involving a vehicle with registration GN 4096-20 and a Toyota Hilux pickup with registration AS 4247-17 occurred around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
In providing more details, Adom News correspondent Isaac K. Normanyo, who was at the scene, said the truck had tried to merge onto the main road but unfortunately collided with the Nissan bus.
He said the vehicle, occupied by two Roman Fathers, was from an event in Anwiankwanta and was joining the main road when it crashed into the other vehicle heading towards Kumasi.
He says JoyNews, of the 10 people involved in the accident, 9 were transferred to Okomfo Anokye University Hospital in Kumasi.
While three of them are in critical condition, the latest victim, a Roman father, is currently admitted to Abenkyiman Hospital in Anwiankwanta.
