Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwah is confident that his team will beat Accra Heart of Oak in their first league game on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

The defending champions will host the Phobians at Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa on matchday one of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

The Dormaa boys have an excellent home record against the Accra Hearts of Oak, but that invisibility at home almost hit last season when the two sides met. Hearts of Oak managed to snatch a point in the Nana Agyemang Badu I park.

Speaking before the game, Caleb Amankwah believes his team will beat the Hearts as they seek to retain the Premier League title.

“It will never happen that Hearts of Oak get results in Dormaa. We will defeat them without fear or favor,” he told Light FM.

“We have prepared very well for this season and we will surely achieve our goal of winning the league. That is our top priority.”

He added: “The exclusion of Elvis Opoku from our team this season will not affect us in any way. We also have good players to replace him.”

“We are still in talks to renew my contract and hopefully we will see what happens.”
