Leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) say they do not accept the results of the 2020 presidential elections announced by Ghanaian EC President Jean Mensa.
“We reached an irresistible conclusion, we say that the election is flawed, discredited and we reject the presidential result without any reservations,” Haruna Iddrisu told Ghanaians.
“As a party, we carried out extensive consultations and a detailed analysis of the election result, as announced by Jean Mensa, president of the EC,” he added.
According to the NDC, there is much evidence to show that John Dramani Mahama won the election.

Acting leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo wins the 2020 general election for Ghana after the country left the polls on Monday, December 7.
NPP Candidate defeats rival after polling 51.59 percent of valid votes cast against NDC’s John Mahama, who polls 47.36 percent.
In total, Akufo-Addo gets 6,730,413 votes, while John Mahama secures 6,214,889 of the total votes cast.
