Lee Addy, a former defender for the Black Stars and a 2010 FIFA World Cup quarter-finalist, hopes to make history with any of Ghana’s Premier League clubs.
Addy recently revealed that she is in talks with Premier League clubs, notably Hearts of Oak, Kotoko and Ashantigold.
The 30-year-old currently has no clubs, after his brief stint in Ethiopia ended abruptly following the COVID-19 outbreak.
In an interview, he indicated that its doors are open to any local club as it wants to make history before ending.
“For me my doors are open and anyone who approaches my door will open and embrace any contract”
“I will be very happy to be part of people who will make history. I have made history with the Black Stars, I left the country and I am back.”
“So I will be happy to be a part of any Ghanaian club that makes another story.”
“In fact, I will be very happy to bring a club in Ghana to the highest state. Let me say that I will join Hearts of Oak, Ashantigold or Kotoko for young people to learn from me because I have acquired and learned a lot” he said.
