Abdallah Ayaric, the 18-year-old gentleman whose life was lost as a result of electoral violence that occurred in the Techiman South Constituency family has been revealed.

In a fragment of a news broadcast seen by YEN.com.gh On the official YouTube channel of TV3 Network Ghana Limited, it is stated that Abdallah is actually the son of an NDC executive.

The mother of the deceased, popularly known as Edith Mensah, spoke in the interview and described her son as a very calm personality who did not like problems.

“My son was not a rowdy or noisy person, you would hardly see him in crowded places but he liked to discuss football so you would find him there,” he said on Twi.

She further explained that had it not been for her husband’s business of getting involved in politics, her innocent son would not even have gone to the collation center for any activity.

As readers will recall, a misunderstanding of the results occurred on 7 December when it was declared that Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah of the New Patriotic Party (PNP) had won against Mr. Beyere of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

This even forced the Electoral Commission to declare the final presidential results without including that of the Techiman Sur constituency.

In other news, a 30-year-old Ghanaian named Andrew Adomako-Jassie reportedly died just a day after landing a new job with the Ghana Immigration Service.

In a post that is going viral on Twitter by a gentleman who described himself as a friend of the deceased, it is stated that Andrew had been out of college for three years without a job before getting his big break.

Pulse.com.gh reports that the deceased was supposed to begin his job training on Monday, December 14, but complained of a headache and passed away the same day he was due to start work.
