The coronavirus epidemic may affect the way we host live events, but this year’s Game Awards is still ongoing.
The 2020 ceremony will be broadcast live from three in-studio, audience-less locations from Los Angeles, London and Tokyo. Speaking with Diversity In September, host Geoff Kegley said he would “not be able to live in three cities in general” – which inspires the idea on a large scale.
“It simply came to our notice then. I think it sends a really great message, and I think this is what I want to do more, ”he said.
The show will feature musical performances by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Weather and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and will feature Bri Larson, Christopher Nolan, Gail Gadot, Jaccepticue, John David and Washington Washington, Joseph Ferrer, Kenu Reeves, Nolan North, and Nolan North. Naughty Dog’s hit sequel “The Last Us of Part II” is ahead with nominations. The “Heads” of the Supergiant Games and the “Ghost of Susuma” of the Sucker Punch are seven with eight behind. All three years are ready for the game; Other nominees for the top prize include Nintendo’s “Animal Crossing: New Horizons”, a “Doom Eternal” remake of IDS Software and Square Enix’s “Final Fantasy VII” remake.
The Game Awards, starting at 4pm PT / 7pm ET, will be broadcast live livestream globally to 45 partners, including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook and Steam. See the full list of winners below, updated live as they were announced.
