Republican lawmakers have pressed President Biden to increase the number of immigrants on the U.S.-Mexico border, according to Texas Sen. John Cornin Biden attacked on Twitter “Human Behavior with Immigrants” by his administration.
Cornin Posted a string of tweets Monday describing how Democratic presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton protested against illegal immigration. Republican Senerer later said Biden “emphasizes the humane treatment of immigrants, regardless of the legal situation.”

The comments drew criticism online, with some questioning why Cornen would portray human behavior as a bad thing. Democratic rip. Don Byrne of Virginia called Cornyn’s attack an “incredible new low.”

Cornin’s press team did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
Later Monday, Arizona’s Corinne and Democratic Sen. Kirsten Cinema sent a letter to the President seeking more executive action on migration across the border.
They called for more resources, especially at border facilities, and for streamlined asylum procedures to treat the growing backlog in immigration cases.

The Biden administration has faced scrutiny of its border policy as officials report an increase in child detention at the border.
The Washington Post reports over the weekend that the Department of Customs and Border Protection and the Department of Health and Human Services are arresting 15,000 unresponsive minors. The CBP told Insider that it faces an average of 7,337 untrained migrant children every day.
In an interview with ABC News last week, Byden addressed the number of migrants seeking to cross the border, telling Central American migrants not to come to the U.S.
“Yes, I can say quite clearly: don’t come forward,” Biden said, “don’t leave your city or town or community.”
