Rhea Chakraborty has been on the radar since an FIR was filed against her in connection with the case of Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress has finally opened up on everything in her latest interviews.
Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14th June 2020. However, the debates surrounding his untimely death are no less confusing. What started with a probe by Mumbai Police and Bihar Police has now been taken over by the CBI. In addition, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also looked into the angle of money laundering in connection with the late actor’s case. Meanwhile, there is one person who has been under the radar after an FIR was filed against them. Yes, we are talking here about Rhea Chakraborty.
The actress has now finally come out and spoken to the media in an exclusive interview with a news channel. She has made certain revelations related to late Sushant Singh Rajput and several other aspects related to the case. We have removed some of their revelations and added them in this article. The beginning of a relationship
Rhea states that she met Sushant at a gym in 2013 and that they were friends for many years. She also adds that her debut film and late actor Kai Po Che have already been released by then. The actress then reveals that she met Rohini Iyer’s party in 2015 and that is where he introduced her. Rhea would have asked him to finish that episode a few days later.
Series of events on June 8th
According to Rhea, it was Sushant who asked her to leave. After all, this comes back to 2nd of 3rd June. Not only that, but she also talks about getting anxiety attacks during that time. Speaking about what happened on June 8, the actress states that she had to undergo a therapy session, but Sushant insisted that she go for it, because his sister Meeta then came to his place of residence. Rhea also shows that she did not have good relations with his family.

WhatsApp chats with Mahesh Bhatt
Asked about her leaky conversations with the filmmaker, the actress stated that she was upset about Sushant not calling her back when she left. Citing the reason behind the same, she says she came out to Mahesh Bhatt when she was broken. Moreover, Rhea also points to the fact that the filmmaker calls her a ‘child’ and that his daughter is her age. The actress states that her pure relationship has been interpreted into something else. Rhea later also adds that she apparently blocked Sushant on June 9 because he did not want her in his life. However, he would contact her brother.

Europe Trip
Rhea finally opens up on the series of events during her Europe tour with Sushant Singh Rajput. It is at the time when he told her about being claustrophobic and then a drug took Modafinil. According to Rhea, that medicine was always with him and he took it without a prescription. She also states that the actor did not step out of his room to reach Paris for three days. Rhea then adds, however, that he did well when they were in Switzerland. Post that, after reporting to some Gothic hotel in Italy. Rhea shows that she was scared after looking at the strange pictures on the walls, but apparently Sushant asked her not to worry. However, he could not sleep that whole night.

The 2013 episode
Rhea claims she asked Sushant about his mental state post which he revealed he went through in a depressive episode in 2013. He would then have consulted a doctor named Haresh Shetty who prescribed him medication. According to the actress, they had to make the trip short due to the deteriorating health of Sushant.
The recording of Showik in the journey
The actress has stated that Sushant also shared a good bond with Showik. The three of them, according to them, formed a company just before their trip to Europe in which they were partners. The actress adds that she put 33,000 Rs each for the same. She shows that Showik assisted her at the travel post Sushant’s.

The payment of Sushant for European travel
Rhea reveals that she had a shooting party in Paris for a clothing company called Shein. The company would probably have paid for their business class cards as well. However, she adds that Sushant thought it was a good idea for a European travel agency to cancel those tickets and instead book first classes for her. He would also have paid for the hotels. Rhea also adds that she had a problem with the way he spent his money.
Financial transactions
The actress denies the allegations of money laundering from Sushant’s bank accounts to her including the account of her family members. She states that he had once paid for her hair and make-up item to which she returned the amount (Rs 35,000). The actress also denies the fact that the late actor paid for her flat. According to her, she still pays for the EMIs of a small apartment in Khar.

Relationship with the Sushant family
Rhea has admitted she was not on good terms with the late actor’s family. She also recalls the episode when the late actor’s sister Priyanka allegedly molested her after she got her and touched her unsatisfactorily. She also asks the reason behind Sushant’s family not returning him to Chandigarh if they feel they are isolating him. The actress has once again claimed how his family forced Siddharth Pithani to say that they siphoned money from the late actor’s accounts.
Sushant’s relationship with father
The actress has claimed that Sushant had a strained relationship with his father KK Singh. She states that the late actor was quite attached to his mother. What’s more shocking is when Rhea says that Sushant’s father left his mother when he was young. She would all also suffer from depression. The actress further shows that he had not spoken to his father for 5 years before they met him.

The depression corner
Rhea confesses that Sushant Singh Rajput suffered from illness and that he was also treated in Hinduja hospital. She also mentions here the name of Dr. Cherry Chavda. According to her, one of the main reasons behind his depression was that he could not live without his mother. She also claims to have given Sushant’s prescriptions and medicines to his sister.
The angle of 17 crown
The actress states that it was 15 million and not the aforementioned amount. She reveals that it was paid for by filmmaker Vasu Bhagnani as a signing fee and that Sushant was happy about it. She also tells how the late actor Rumi Jaffrey approached after seeing Hero no. 1 and talked to her about making a movie in which she (Rhea) would watch opposite him.

The drug conspiracy
Rhea again denies the allegations about her involvement in drug trafficking. She claims she has never consumed drugs and is ready to take a blood test. However, Rhea adds that Sushant smoked a lot and that he also consumed marijuana. She admits that she knew Gaurav Arya, but denies that she did not have a conversation with him about drugs.

Hard drive, housekeeping staff, and Sandip Ssingh
The actress denies the allegations that she did not destroy any evidence from Sushant’s residence. She also states that it was the late actor who hired and fired his staff. Rhea also adds that she does not know Sandip Ssingh. According to her, he never came home or called the late actor.
Connection with Disha Salian
Rhea says she has only met Disha Salian once in her life and that too, only ten minutes. The actress says the famous manager and her team once visited Sushant’s Carter Road residence.

Reason to say ‘Sorry Babu’
The actress, when asked about the same, quotes, “What else should anyone say to someone who has lost his life? I’m sorry you lost your life. I’m sorry your death was made a joke. It “I’m sorry everyone made a joke about your death. I’m sorry your last memory is not of your intelligence or your charity.” She added that she was at the morgue for 3-4 seconds. who asked someone to leave their inner post, which they presumably touched the feet of the late actor.

Bollywood mafia, nepotism, #MeToo accusations
Rhea states that she herself is a struggling actress and that she can not be part of any Bollywood gang. She further adds that Sushant was overzealous about getting credits for films like Chhichhore and Sonchiriya. The actress also shows how the #MeToo accusations haunted him. According to her, Sushant spoke after all about leaving everything behind.
Political connection
Rhea Chakraborty denies having political connections. She also stated that she did not know or even met Aditya Thackeray. Moreover, the actress adds that the initials ‘AU’ on her phone data indicate Anaya Udhas who has already issued a clarification on the same.

Calls to Bandra DCP
The actress states that she called Bandra’s DCP because she constantly received death and rape threats. Rhea further adds that she was not an accused at the time, but a witness in the case. She states that the Mumbai Police were very firm with her during the investigation and that they investigated the matter properly.
