‘Friday’ actor Thomas ‘younger’ Lister Jr. has died at the age of 62

The 6-year-old actor started feeling sick a week ago, but his symptoms “got really bad, really fast,” said manager Cindy Cowan.

He could not breathe and felt very weak, he said.

“It literally went so fast,” Cowan added.

Lister was known for his role as Debo in the “Friday” movie franchise with rapper Ice Cube. He also appeared with Hulk Hogan in the World Wrestling Entertainment movie “No Holds Bared”.

Lister was believed to have gone on the set of a new movie last weekend. However, he said to cancel because he feels very weak and has difficulty breathing, Kovan said.

“Little movies don’t pay off; he took them very seriously,” he said.

The actor then canceled plans for a panel scheduled for Wednesday for the TV Festival by Zoom, according to Cowan.

She said her assistant went to Lister’s house that day to check in with some vitamins and antibiotics. Relevant family members also started calling him on Wednesday night.

Colo did not answer.

The next day, a friend from Lister went to his home and called the police for help when no one came to the door.

When deputies entered the home, they found Lister dead.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that Mr. Lister’s death was due to natural causes but would ultimately be determined by the medical examiner-coroner’s office fee.

The inquest into the death is still ongoing, the statement said.
