Fortnite to Host We The People Program Focusing on Race Talks in America


FortniteParty Royale will broadcast a sample in-game We the People On Saturday, part of a series of talks about race in the United States, the company announced on Friday. The show, hosted by CNN’s Van Jones, will include journalists Elaine Welteroth and Jemele Hill, and musicians Killer Mike and Lil Baby. The group will hold a discussion on systemic racism in the media, culture and entertainment.

See We the People, launching Fortnite on Saturday morning and select the Battle Royale game mode. Enter the Party Royale playlist and go to the big screen of the island. The event will begin at 9:46 am ET and will re-air multiple times throughout Saturday.

Epic Games debuted Party Royale in April, a nonviolent social space separate from the main island of Battle Royale. It hosts virtual concerts by musicians like Diplo and Deadmau5, a concert series with Young Thug and Noah Cyrus, as well as Travis Scott’s hugely popular concert in April.
