Fortnite Season 3 Challenges: Deadpool Floaties; Ziplines; Forage items; And more

Fortnite Season 3: Chapter 2 is officially here. As is the case every time a new season begins, a lot has changed in Epic’s popular Battle Royale shooter. The island has been completely flooded, and there are new AI enemies called Marauders to contend with and a new type of vehicle to command: cars (though not yet available in-game). A new season also means new challenges, and if you need help with them, we’ve got you covered.

Every week in Season 3, Epic will release a new batch of missions to complete as you play. Removing them will give you XP to level up your Battle Pass, which in turn will unlock new skins and other cosmetic items. This time, there is also a set of Aquaman challenges that will unlock special Aquaman skins when completed. Only two of these challenges are live right now, with an additional one every week, but you’ll need to remove all five to unlock the skins.

Aquaman challenges

Use a hot tub at Fortilla

The first challenge you must complete to unlock Aquaman’s special skin is to use a hot tub in The Fortilla, one of the new locations on the Season 3 map. The Fortilla is located directly south of Holly Hedges, so all you need to do to overcome this challenge is to slide into the area and fall into a whirlpool. Once you have done that, you will unlock the King of the Beach loading screen for your troubles. You can see exactly where The Fortilla is located above.

Week 2 Challenges

• Use different zip lines in The Authority (8)
• Search for chests or ammo boxes in Holly Hedges (7)
• Find Deadpool floats on The Yacht (3)
• Score a goal on a soccer field in Pleasant Park
• Eliminations in Lazy Lake (3)
• Henchmen on the head in The Fortilla (20)
• Collect or consume fodder items in The Orchard (5)

Find Deadpool floats on the yacht

Season 2 may be over, but you can still find remnants of the Deadpool pool party on the Season 3 map. For this challenge, you must find three Deadpool floats on The Yacht, the giant cruise ship that used to float on the island coast. The Yacht was destroyed during the The Device event that ended Season 2, but you can still see its wreckage in the northernmost part of the map, and you’ll find four Deadpool floats scattered around it. You can see exactly where the yacht is located above.

Use different zip lines on authority

For this challenge, you’ll need to use eight different ziplines in The Authority, the new fortress-like complex that replaced the Season 2 Agency in the center of the map. This should not pose too much of a problem; There are ziplines scattered throughout the Authority, and all you need to do to use one is to get close to it and press the button that appears. However, if you need help finding The Authority, we have marked your location on the map above.

Gather or consume forage items in the garden

While much of the Fortnite map radically changed in the transition to Season 3, The Orchard remains the same as last season. You can find it just north of Frenzy Farm, and you’ll have to go there to collect or consume forage items. This is fairly straightforward. You’ll find all kinds of foods at The Orchard, including apples under trees, cabbages on the ground, and boxed mushrooms, so just collect or consume five to complete the challenge. • Deal damage within 10 seconds of landing from the whirlpool in Hydro 16
• Enter the Catty Corner Vault
• Find gnomes in Homely Hills (3)

• Land at Misty Meadows and finish in the top 25.
• Eliminations in Steamy Stacks (3)

Find gnomes in Homely Hills

After narrowly avoiding a full-blown war with teddy bears last season, the gnomes are back in season 3. For this challenge, you’ll need to find three gnomes in Homely Hills, one of the new locations on the map. The trickier part is locating the area itself, given how substantial the island has changed when Season 3 started, but it’s located northwest of Pleasant Park. Head over there and do some searching and you shouldn’t have much trouble completing the challenge. You can see exactly where Homely Hills is on the map above.
