Princess Diana’s former bodyguard Lee Sansum recently opened up about Princess Diana’s mysterious death, her infamous BBC interview and her failed marriage to Prince Charles.
According to a recent interview with one of Princess Diana’s former bodyguards, her high-profile marriage to Princess Charles came under pressure, which fell apart in public. Former Army cop and former bodyguard Lee Sunsum, who keeps an eye on people’s princesses, said the public investigation was tightened after Diana gave a devastating BBC interview about her marriage. Sansam, who was one of 278 witnesses to testify to his death in 2008, claimed in an interview with The Sunday Mirror that the probe into his marriage to the Prince of Wales had “finished” him like a boxer after his final fight.
She was also annoyed by her “drowning in submission” by the royal wedding, which crumbled in front of everyone’s eyes. During the interview, Lee recalled Princess Dee’s family vacation in St. Tropez in July 1997 – a month before her death – and said: “It was the last time a fighter was knocked down and it was just over. “She would have gone badly,” said journalist Martin Bashir. Talking about how Diana’s interview changed Diana’s life, he said, “There are perfect reasons for the investigation – she was used,” by journalist Martin Bashir.
Sansum also made strict reservations about how Diana was constantly questioned for her sanity while being exploited by others for her own benefit. He said, “A lot of people said the princess is insane but I have been trained in various things like human behavior. I could not see any signs of the madness I was accused of being. She was just a normal person. She can do it. “You imagine you’re crazy, but aren’t you? It must have been a horrible feeling. She was a very balanced, beautiful, caring woman. She was a wonderful mother. She was witty and fun,” Sunsum added.
