The self-styled ‘archbishop’ of an appointed church in Florida who sells industrial bleach as a ‘miracle cure’ for Covid-19 has been arrested with his son in Colombia for extradition to the US.
Video images posted on Colombia’s attorney general’s Twitter feed showed that Mark Grenon and his son Joseph Grenon, dressed in blue jumpsuits and masks, were led by armed police. The prosecutor’s office said the couple was arrested on suspicion of selling a “miracle solution” that had caused the deaths of seven U.S. citizens.
The Grenons’ fear comes a month after the “archbishop” of the “church” of Genesis II, like three of his sons, were accused by federal authorities in Florida of dealing in an unapproved substance for medical use and could be life-threatening.
The substance, suction dioxide, is a powerful bleach used in textile manufacturing. The Grenons deserve it as a “miracle mineral solution” like MMS, which they say when drunk as an injury can cure almost any disease, including Covid, cancer, HIV / AIDS, as well as autism for conditions.
In April, The Guardian revealed that Grenon had written to Donald Trump in the White House to encourage the US president to embrace the product in his attempt to contain coronavirus. The letter stated MMS “can free the body of Covid-19”.
A few days later, Trump went on national TV in his daily briefing of coronavirus from the White House and came up with the idea of injecting a disinfectant into the body to combat Covid-19. “Is there a way we can do something, by injecting inside or almost cleaning?” he said.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has banned Grenon and his sons from paddling in bleach. Last August, the FDA issued a public statement warning Americans not to drink MMS or similar products.
“If you drink MMS or other sodium chlorite products, stop now,” the statement said. “The FDA has received many reports that these products, sold online as ‘treatments’, have made consumers sick.”
When asked by the Guardian Mark Grenon to respond to the FDA warning, he replied in an email (sic): “You and your Guardian newspaper are just puppets of the evil players of this world like the Murdoch / Rothschild families! With God open your eyes Picklehead Ed who does not investigate the truth or YOU ARE A PAID LIAR! ‘
