First Call: Back, present Steelers mourn Kevin Green; The NHL team made fun of Juju; Ryan Shazier Vents

Tuesday’s “First Call” gives us a broad response to the passing of Hall of Fame Steelers linebacker Kevin Green.

Another former Steelers star has seen enough for the team’s offense. Miles Garrett is still working with the effect of Covid-19. And all the juju is hitting the poles on Smith-Schuster.

I mean everyone.

Remembering the stars

Current members of the Pittsburgh Steelers took to social media to pay tribute to Kevin Green’s demise.

Ahead of the team’s Monday night game, the team confirmed that the former Steeler of Half Fame died Monday. The pass-rushing phenom was 58 years old.

His legacy is not lost on existing players.

Defensive lineman Stephen Tute posted a photo and promised to honor Green’s number 91 on his jersey.

Meanwhile, 1990s head coach Bill Cowher and some of Green’s teammates also sent Green’s thoughts and memories.

Other organizations presented over the years also sent their condolences to Green.

So some club players who were opponents and fellow players of the Greens in other clubs.

Glyn did more than 15 years of career sacking with Rams, Steelers and Panthers while receiving Pro Bowl and -l-Pro honors. He was named Pro Bowl five times during his career. His scores are third behind Bruce Smith and Reggie White.

It’s not just us

Those of you who are thinking that he is only criticizing Steelers by fans and the media, guess again.

Former Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier also lets his views be known.

Go ahead. You tell him he’s wrong.

By the way, however, the defense is also struggling. I know they were put in a difficult place by those putrid crimes. But it’s a joke to allow 27 points in Cincinnati without pushing turnover and getting just two sacks. Especially with third-string quarterback Ryan Finley at the helm.

The Bengals had 22 gifts in the game. Only five teams had more. They didn’t have Monday night.

Now it is less

After he danced his ticket ok there before the game, he wasn’t just kidding to get entangled in NFL World Juju Smith-Schuster’s midfield.

The NHL team’s Twitter accounts are also closed.

It’s a little expensive for a franchise that hasn’t won a playoff series since 2012. But I appreciate the sarcasm.

Can you dance the ticket ok by the way? Oh oh. Maybe I shouldn’t give Juju any ideas. He will be skating on the Flyers logo by January.

Not much better yet

Cleveland Browns star Miles Garrett is back from the Covid-19 list. But he is still fighting the effects of the disease. He missed two games the previous season, but has played the last three. After Sunday night’s win against the New York Giants, Garrett complained of delayed issues.

“I’m finishing the cough fit in the locker room first,” Guerrero said during a postgame interview. “I’m trying to get some water into my system and be able to breathe. She is having a hard time breathing deep deep right now and she is turning into coughing or suffocating.

“When I get off the field I can hold my breath and maybe look at someone and try to work with someone. Hopefully, if we place it in the playoffs, I can try to get myself as close to 100 percent as possible. “

Garrett had four tackles and a half bag. The Steelers visit Cleveland in the 17th week.

If Mason plays Rudolph, maybe Garrett will wind up to turn the helmet on him too.
