Fireworks spelling “Trump” and “2020” lit up the sky over the Washington Monument Thursday night at the conclusion of President Trump’s formal acceptance speech during the last day of the 2020 Republican National Convention.
The fireworks display ended with the end of the president’s speech, Thursday night.

The fireworks shouted “Trump” and “2020” in red, white and blue across the Washington Monument.
The Republican National Committee last week filed a permit at the National Mall and Memorial Parks for aerial fireworks to commemorate the president’s acceptance and the last day of its convention.
The president delivered his address, which lasted more than an hour, struck a hopeful tone, and made the matter directly to voters for another four years.

“For America, nothing is impossible,” the president said in concluding his remarks. “Over the next four years, we will prove worthy of this wonderful heritage. We will reach wonderful new heights. And we will show the world that, for America, no dream is beyond our reach.”

Together we are invincible. “Because together we are the proud BURGERS of the United States of America,” Trump said. “And on November 3, we will make America safer, we will make America stronger, we will make America bigger, and we will make America BIGGER than ever before!”
