Final Fantasy is getting a physical release on the ninth Nintendo Switch

Square has announced a physical version of the Enix Final Fantasy IX The Nintendo Switch will be introduced in Asia this winter.

According to the list on Plesia, this version will work on all systems sold worldwide and will include English, French, Italian, German and Spanish language support. Pre-orders are now live. With this, take a look at the stylish art of the game:

This comes after Square Enix’s announcement last week that it would bring Final Fantasy VII / VIII Remastered Twin Pack December 4 Europe, Middle East, Australia Australia and New Zealand.

The Twin Pack was originally exclusive to Asia as well, so it’s not surprising if a physical version of the Final Fantasy Ninth is eventually localized to these other regions as well. To learn more about FFIX on Switch, read our review.
