Fantasy Football Dynasty Wide Receiver Ranking: How High Can Calvin Ridley and DJ Chark Get?

Any updates to these dynasty classifications have traditionally included updates on who moved in the past month and why. If you haven’t noticed, not much has happened in the NFL world in the last month that has had an impact on Fantasy Football. That’s not uncommon for May and June, but was exacerbated by a lack of minicamps and OTAs. Then you will see similar rankings below like what you saw in May. And instead of looking back, we’ll see three quarterbacks whose value could increase further in the next two to three months.

It won’t surprise anyone by suggesting a Calvin Ridley leak in 2020. Almost everyone is. In fact, that has already been included in my Dynasty ranking, with Ridley currently at number 8. But don’t think for a moment that it’s the highest it can go. I still run the risk of Julio Jones remaining an alpha, Hayden Hurst takes on the role of Austin Hooper and Russell Gage takes on all of Mohamed Sanu’s goals. Even in that scenario, Ridley has the top 10 on the rise this season. But we saw this same script with Jones. Big production with no elite goals in his first two seasons and then Jones turned into a 10 goal per game beast. Ridley could make that star spin in early 2020 and jump to the top five of the consensus. Number 1 is not out of the question for the end of 2020.

If you’re looking for a cheaper breakout candidate to target, DJ Chark is your man. He is also almost two years younger than Ridley. Chark had eight touchdowns and nearly 1,000 yards in the first 13 games of 2019 and will be the No. 1 clear in a Jaguars offense that should exceed 600 attempts. He’s already climbed the rankings, but his rookie year, and his quarterback status seems to keep his perceived worth under control. With an active start to 2020, the 23-year-old could jump to the top 12 receivers in the dynasty.

While Ridley and Chark are already halfway through the breakup, Marquise Brown is a catcher he could target and he hasn’t really been able to stay healthy enough to start his breakup. Brown was the first receiver to be recruited in 2019 and had some monstrous outings, but he fought with consistency and health. In 2020 we expect Lamar Jackson and the Ravens to increase their number of pass attempts, and Brown is their clear receiver n. ° 1. A result in the top 15 is not out of the question, and if it does in its second year, we may be looking at it as we do with Ridley right now.

The low-end catcher that I think could cause quite a stir at camp are Laviska Shenault, Denzel Mims and Mecole Hardman. But not only young people can get up. If Brandin Cooks stays healthy, he could have the best year of his career, and he’s not much older than Ridley.
