Fall Guys Season 2: Medieval mini-games and costumes are on the way

Fall Guys: Season 2 of Ultimate Knockout of content is on track to add to one of 2020’s most exciting and popular games. Developer Mediatonic unveiled new mini-games and costumes as a medieval theme during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2020. A giant castle for tailgating and a new block-pushing game where you have to climb over castle walls were revealed, as well as new dragon, knight, viking, wizard , and witch costumes.

Season 2 will not begin more than a month, but if it does, it will have more games and costumes inspired by “epic quests.” Despite being previously hyped, the Fall Guys segment was rap during Opening Night Live, showing off only new content during a short clip. Many of the same games are coming back, albeit with new maps and obstacles. These include swinging axes and games where you have to physically move disasters and platforms to, for example, jump through a floating ring that is otherwise out of reach.

Fall Guys lead designer Joe Walsh began his Gamescom performance by thanking fans for the game’s remarkable success. He had previously promised that a lot of new content was in the works for the game, so expect more than the second season. We also know that, in China, a mobile version of Fall Guys is in the works – in the meantime, we are hopeful that the game will reach other platforms around the world.

It’s likely that Fall Guys will discontinue or reuse some games in the future. The game has already received some major tweaks in season 1.
