Fahim Saleh: Prominent Tech Entrepreneur Found Beheaded In ‘Professional’ Murder At His New York Luxury Condo


A 33-year-old tech entrepreneur was found dismembered in a creepy murder in his multi-million dollar luxury apartment in Manhattan, New York, with reports indicating that some of his last moments may have been captured on CCTV.

The body of Fahim Saleh, a successful founder of multiple startups and the son of Bangladeshi immigrants, was reportedly discovered by his sister on Tuesday after she came to see her brother, whom she had not seen in a day.

According to the New York Daily NewsMr. Saleh’s body was found near a chainsaw and contractor bags. They left him beheaded, with his limbs dismembered from his torso in what police sources described to the New York Post like a “professional” murder.


A second man could be seen on surveillance video following Mr. Saleh to the elevator of the building, according to the Daily News, putting on a suit, hat, gloves and mask. A source told the newspaper: “The criminal had a suitcase. It was very professional. “

Mr. Saleh can be seen in the video, which reportedly exits the elevator on the floor where his apartment was located before falling to the ground. It was not immediately clear what caused the victim’s collapse.

Neighbors said they saw police escort two women who arrived at the apartment after the murder, appearing “hysterical” and “incredulous” before leaving with detectives. A medium-sized dog was also removed from Mr. Saleh’s apartment.

The 33-year-old man was the CEO of Gokadang, a motorcycle-sharing app in Lagos, Nigeria, as well as a founding partner of Adventure Capital. He also co-founded a travel company called Pathao in Nepal and Bangladesh, and previously served as CEO of KickBack Apps, which included multiple phone prank apps like “PrankDial” and “PrankPad”.

His LinkedIn profile described him as “finding good people, dodging oncoming traffic, and creating value.”

Confirming his death in a statement, Gokada wrote in a statement: “We are very saddened to inform you of the sudden and tragic loss of our founder and CEO, Fahim Saleh.”
