After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar, the state police moved to Mumbai to investigate the case. In the midst of this, reports came that Rhea had transferred to the Supreme Court with the request to transfer the investigation of the case presented in Patna to Mumbai. His lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, told Pinkvilla: “We have moved the supreme court with the appeal to transfer the investigation to Mumbai as the call to action in Mumbai emerged and the investigations are pending in Mumbai under section 174 of the CRPC “.

After the FIR, the Patna police sent a team to Mumbai to investigate the matter. They tried to meet Rhea Chakraborty at her home. However, they could not because the star was not at home. The FIR that has been filed by Sushant’s father has filed 9-10 charges against Rhea, including suicide kidnapping, diversion of funds and more. In addition to Rhea, the FIR has stood against 5 other people, including his brother Showik and his parents. .

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Sushant’s family’s lawyer also spoke to the media, saying that the Mumbai police asked the father of the late actor to come up with the names of the major producers. He alleged that the Mumbai police did not follow Rhea’s example, but instead began exploring angles that may not have much connection to the actor’s disappearance. Meanwhile, in a statement by Maharashtra Interior Minister Anil Deshmukh, he said there is no need to transfer the case to CBI. He claimed that the Mumbai police are investigating the matter.

So far, 38 people have been investigated in Sushant’s case, including Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mukesh Chhabra, Apoorva Mehta, Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjana Sanghi, and others. Sushant was found dead in his apartment on June 14, 2020, and his sudden disappearance left everyone in shock.
