The latest leaks and hints in-game have suggested that the next Fortnite crossover will focus on Thor, the Norwegian God who is thrown into pop culture by Marvel’s hugely popular cinematic universe.
Fortnite has, in several ways, exceeded what has been expected from video games. Several ambitious crossovers have seen worlds clash in the building blocks of Epic Games, including Borderlands 3 and Star Wars.
A number of crossovers have used characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Thanos and Captain America. With those crossovers in the books, fans often turn their attention to what would come next, and it looks like we’re about to delve deeper into Norwegian mythology.
Thor’s Hammer has previously appeared in Fortnite.
In an August 8 video, popular YouTuber Ali-A dived into the potential Thor crossover, with a look at a mysterious comic book leaked in-game.
The comic book seems to have been added to the game by chance, with users not yet able to interact well with it. It is also mentioned as’ Comic title placeholder no. 1 ‘, further suggests that it does not have to be accessible to players at the same time.
Topic begins at 8:40 p.m.
Zooming in on the comic book certainly seems to show Thor, at least a general interpretation of how he is portrayed in comic books.
The images were shared by renowned Fortnite leaker Hypex, who is known in the community for the accuracy of his leaks. The comic book page also appears as a reference to Galactus, another character who comes from the MCU.

Eventually, the comic strip seems to point to the Rainbow Bridge, also called the Bifrost. This is a bridge that has features in Asgard, Thor’s house. When all these leaks come out, Fortnite appears set for a pretty deep dive into the world of Thor and the MCU.
While the image of Thor is not particularly similar to the image we saw in Marvel movies, it seems the most likely aesthetic in which Thor will appear in-game. Many have already commented on the image between Bunker Jonesy and Thor.
Despite the leaks that certainly point the way of Thor, there is no guarantee that we will see him as other MCU characters in-game, at least until we get official confirmation from Epic. Keep those eyes squinting, gamers.
