There are a ton of new consoles out there, unknown, and with only a few weeks to officially move to the next generation, it took time to explain the various technical improvements that Ubisoft customers can take advantage of while playing some (mostly) upcoming games on Xbox Series X / S or PlayStation 5.
Overall, Ubisoft has outlined next-gen enhancements to its eight games – Watchdogs: Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Phoenix Rising, Far Cry 6, Raiders Republic, Just Dance 2021, Rainbow Six Siege, and Honor – not too far in the future. . . All games run on Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, and PS5, and updates to their next-gen counterparts to current-gen consoles are free. However, Ubisoft reminds those looking to upgrade from a physical PS4 disc that they need a disc drive on their PS5.
