Spurs ready to bid for a new forward transfer goal
Spurs are reportedly set to bid for Benfica center forward Haris Seferovic following further competition for Arkadiusz Milik.
According to Football InsiderJosé Mourinho’s team is making an offer for the 28-year-old as they look to add additional attacking options before the transfer deadline.
The report also indicates that talks will begin in the next few days regarding a loan movement for the Swiss international.
Spurs had previously been linked to Napoli’s Milik, but reports suggest that other clubs, including Manchester United, are also looking for his signature.

Vertonghen sends strong message to FA after penalty decision
Former Spurs defender Jan Vergonthen sent a strong message to the Football Association after Newcastle United’s controversial penalty decision on Sunday.
Eric Dier’s handball was picked up by the VAR and subsequently saw Steve Bruce’s team earn a point in the closing seconds of the game.
Vertonghen took to social media after the game to express his dissatisfaction with the decision that was against his former team.
He tweeted: “The FA needs to start asking some serious questions.
“Absolutely shocking decisions and they hide behind the referees.”
Wilson praises ‘wonderful’ penalty decision
Callum Wilson insists that the controversial penalty decision that earned his team a point on Sunday is “absolutely wonderful” for him personally.
The club’s summer signing scored from the point in injury time on Sunday to earn a point against a completely dominant Spurs team that should have taken their chances.
