The highlight of Emoni Bates is the real deal
Widely regarded as the nation’s best basketball prospect and possibly a No. 1 NBA draft pick in 2022, Emoni Bates surprised many on Monday afternoon when he appeared on ESPN and announced that he had committed to Michigan State. There is a possibility that he may not get there as he has just finished his sophomore year at Ypsilanti (Mich.) Lincoln High School and plans to start his father’s new high school. Time is on Bates’ side and there are still plenty of options on the table for his career direction before he even steps on campus in East Lansing.
