Elon Musk’s personal wealth has increased by 15 15 billion since Tesla was ranked in the S&P 500 index on Monday. He is on track to become the world’s third richest man, surpassing Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg.
Following the announcement of Tesla’s inclusion in the index, the automaker’s shares rose 14% in after-hours trading and closed at 8,408.09 per share.
As of Monday evening, Musk’s net worth was 11 117.5 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. His total increase of $ 90 billion this year has been the highest on the entire list of 500 billionaires.
The recent expansion in its wealth means it will surpass Zuckerberg, whose current wealth is $ 106 billion.

Tesla, with a market capitalization of Rs 400 billion, meets the requirements to be included in the index and will join on December 21 as one of the 10 most valuable 10 companies.
Among the requirements to join the S&P 500, companies must be US-based, have a market cap of at least અ 8.2 billion, be very liquid, have at least 50% of the shares available to the public, and post four consecutive profitable quarters. Please.

S&P Global did not say which firm Tesla would change, saying it would mention it in a separate release.
Separately, the CEOs of Tesla and SpaceX said this week that they “possibly” have a moderate case of “COVID-19”, but questioned the reliability of the mixed test results they obtained.
