Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, said on Monday that “several thousand” more invitations would be sent to the company’s Starlink Internet public beta in the near future, and that the plan could expand to Europe early next year.
The Starlink service shines the Internet on Earth from a network of 900 satellites – a beta released on October 26th, and some users are already reporting more than 160 megabits of activity per second (Mbps).

SpaceX has begun testing the service in the northern US and southern Canada, where SpaceX’s satellite coverage is better.
In follow-up tweets, Kasturi hinted that while other places will get Starlink Internet.
He Said European countries are expected to “approve the company as soon as the country enters,” which he began estimating in February or March.

Florida could get a public beta in January, he added, adding that “lower latitude states need more satellite status.”

On October 26, SpaceX sent an email to an undisclosed number of people who expressed interest in signing up for the service on the Starlink website. The email said users should expect speeds of 50 to 150 Mbps.
The aerospace manufacturer charges $ 99 a month for subscriptions, plus a tripod for connecting to Starlink satellites, a WiFi router and a 499 front-end kit for the terminal.
Musk’s pay firm has about 900 Starlink satellites in orbit. It plans to launch about 12,000 Starlink satellites by mid-2027, although this could reach 42,000. Its ultimate goal is to beam high speed internet around the world.
