In an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada published in July 2020, Page teased what follows for Vanya in The umbrella academy Season 2. And despite the character’s downfall in the first season, it looks like Vanya will rejuvenate when the Netflix series returns.
“Vanya, at the beginning of this season is quite different from last season,” Page said. “And in many ways, she wanted to establish a bit of a new character. She continued: “But we found her at the beginning of the second season and she is lighter, happier, more open. You can connect with your emotions, you can connect with other people, you fall in love for the first time. “
Page also noted that Vanya’s trip in the second season was “satisfactory.” Although she did not reveal exactly whether or not her character’s path ends on a happy note.
