Ellen DeGeneres spotted with Kevin Hart amid toxic workplace demands

Ellen DeGeneres was spotted on Saturday with pal Kevin Hart, shortly after the ‘Jumanji’ actor defended the involved star amid allegations of toxicity on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show. ‘

DeGeneres, 62, dressed in a printed navy blue top, beige cargo pants and sandals, had lunch with Hart, 41, at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California, where she was seen sipping white wine while chatting with Hart, who a light dry blue shirt and matching shorts.

Earlier this month, Hart joined a chorus of celebrities – including Katy Perry, Scooter Braun, and Diane Keaton, among others – to speak out in support of DeGeneres, who recently came under fire over claims she created a toxic work environment. Former employees of “Ellen” have also accused top executives in the performance of sexual abuse.

“It’s crazy to see my friend go through what she’s going public,” Hart posted on Instagram in early August. ‘I’ve known Ellen for years and I can honestly say she’s one of the dumbest people on the f-king planet. She has treated my day and my team with love and respect since day 1. The internet has become a crazy world of negativity … we have fallen in love with peoples down. It’s honestly sad … When did we get here?

“I stand by those I know and whom I love,” he continued. ‘I look forward to the future where we will return to love each other … this hatred must stop. Hopefully it goes out of style soon…. This post is not meant to ignore the feelings of others and their experiences …. it’s just to show what my experiences with my friend have been like. I love you for life Ellen… ”

Last month, WarnerMedia launched an internal investigation in response to the claims. DeGeneres later addressed the allegations in a statement.

‘Because we have grown exponentially, I have not been able to stay on top of everything and rely on others to do their jobs because they knew I would do it. Clearly some do not, ‘DeGeneres wrote. “That will change now and I’m sure this will not happen again.”
