Zamalek: We have not received a letter about the Achimbong penalty

Issam Salem, head of the Zamalek media system, confirmed that the club in charge of managing the club had not received an official letter regarding the ruling handed down in favor of the Ghanaian Benjamin Achimbong, former player of the white team.

According to the Ghana Professional Players Association website, the former Zamalek player obtained a ruling against the club after years of legal dispute between the two parties.

And he added: “The crisis began two and a half years ago, and the player obtained a sentence that Zamalek appealed on the Sports Court, then the player obtained a final sentence for the equivalent of 20 million pounds, and the only hope is escalation. to the Federal Court “.

He concluded: “There is a tendency to reach friendly solutions with the player, and I confirm so far that we have not received an official letter of judgment.”

Ashimbong played for Zamalek from the Home Office in the summer of 2017, but only spent a short period with the team, after which he left before the contract was terminated in 2018.
