Zamalek club spokesman Issam Salem said that after the death of councilor Ahmed Bakri, head of the temporary committee for the management of the Zamalek club, another club president will be appointed after councilor Hisham Ibrahim is temporarily appointed to the Zamalek Club, and explained that the decision is in the hands of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, stating that this matter will not take more than two or three days, noting that the Zamalek club announced the duel for a period of three days and condolences will be at the Hamidiya Shazlia Mosque next Sunday.
The Zamalek club spokesman added, during a telephone interview on the dmc evening program presented by the media, Ramy Radwan, that this stage requires strong leadership, due to the problems that the club is going through.
Salem noted that the Zamalek club’s special regulations stipulate that there must be three advisers to run Zamalek, and that Councilor Hisham Ibrahim will lead the club temporarily after the death of Advisor Ahmed Al-Bakri.
On the other hand, Essam Salem, official spokesperson for the Zamalek Club, confirmed the death of counselor Ahmed Al-Bakry, president of the Temporary Management Committee of the Zamalek Club, as a result of his infection with the Corona virus, yesterday at noon this Thursday.
It is noteworthy that Councilor Ahmed Al-Bakri became infected with the Corona virus days after the decision to appoint him head of the temporary committee to manage the Zamalek Club by decision of Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports.
