The Zamalek club, on Friday, issued a 4-point statement to respond to Roland Romier, general manager of the French club Saint-Etienne, after he hinted at a request from commission officials to facilitate the transfer of Mostafa Mohamed to the team.
Roland Romier made his remarks Thursday night accusing unidentified officials of requesting commissions to facilitate the deal, and promising to reveal the names in case the deal is not completed within 24 hours.
Zamalek’s response came through his declaration of definitively canceling the negotiation and starting legal proceedings to preserve the moral rights of the Zamalek club leaders.
Zamalek’s statement was as follows:
The Zamalek club followed with interest the statements of the president of the French club Saint Etienne on January 14, 2021, on the Al-Nahar channel, and what it contained indicating that people it did not name, or indicate their description, requested money from change to facilitate the transfer of the Zamalek player Mustafa Mohamed to his club.
In this regard .. Zamalek club confirms the following: –
First: Zamalek club rejects in any way any offense or attempt to defame any of its members, who enjoy transparency and credibility.
Second: The club categorically and unequivocally rejects the threat contained in the aforementioned disclosure statements of the names of those who requested access to the funds in case of not completing the deal, and calls on Saint-Etienne Club officials to immediately disclose these names, if any, in compliance with the integrity and transparency standard that must be followed.
Third: In this context, the Zamalek club announces the definitive cancellation of the negotiation on the transfer of the player, Mustafa Mohamed to the French club Saint Etienne, out of respect for the entity and concern of the Zamalek club, as well as its broad fans in everywhere that does not accept such matters, which contradict the values and principles. The old club, which has always been witnessed by tongues and hearts and touched by feelings.
Fourth: The Zamalek Club is currently taking the necessary legal measures regarding this issue, through which it preserves its moral and moral rights, which are represented in the defamation and abuse of some club leaders, and the club will make known immediately and clearly all the information that is disclosed and will treat it in accordance with the highest standards of clarity and transparency.
