The Zamalek club received a heavy slap from the Pyramids duo, Abdullah Bakri and Nabil Emad Dunga, about leaving for the White Knight over the next period.
Press reports previously indicated that Zamalek obtained the signing of the duo, but the decision was postponed until next January, due to the financial crisis that the club suffers, along with the departure of the former board of directors headed by Mortada Mansour.
In this regard, a source within the Zamalek club revealed the position of the contracts signed by the duo, confirming that Al-Bakri’s contracts do not exist in the club, indicating that the player, after signing Zamalek 3 months ago, kept the contracts with him until the White Knight’s leadership agreed with Pyramids on All Details, which ultimately failed.
The source explained that Bakri refused to give White Castle management any copies of the contract before reaching an agreement with Pyramids on all the details of the deal, lest he be exposed to any sanction or shame.
He played the position of Nabil Emad Dunga, the midfielder, who had also signed for Zamalek earlier during his meeting with Mortada Mansour, the former club president and his son Amir Mortada 4 months ago, where he signed a 4-year contract.
The new football management of the Zamalek Club did not find the contracts signed by Dunga, since the reason is that the ex-footballers maintained contracts with them as a word of honor with the player in anticipation of not solving the deal with Pyramids and avoiding any legal problem.
These things contributed to the two deals not being terminated and thus the duo continued with the Pyramids team, but the upcoming winter transfer period may see some moves by the White Knight.
Zamalek are preparing to face Pyramids, their counterpart Pyramids, next Thursday in the second round of the Egyptian Premier League championship.
