Advisor Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, issued an official statement saying: “I thank all the respectable followers of Zamalek and I thank the members of the General Assembly for their respectful stance for supporting me in the recent crisis and the decisions issued by the Egyptian Olympic Committee, and I also thank Al-Ahly supporters who also supported and supported me.

To some young Zamalek fans, whom I learned from some sites who intend to go to protest in solidarity with me. Some time ago I announced on the Zamalek channel that Egypt is more important than Mortada Mansour and I fear that some of the Brotherhood terrorists will enter among them and exploit their gatherings to wreak havoc. This is unacceptable. Because, as I said, I emphasized that Egypt is more important than Murtaza Mansour and that I obtain my right to the law through the righteous Egyptian judiciary.

And this is what happened two years ago, after the same Olympic Committee signed a judgment against me isolating me for two years and filed a lawsuit with the great Egyptian judiciary and presented documents that confirmed the illegality of the decision.

For this reason, today I began to take the first steps to go to the Judiciary by presenting a memorandum to the respected Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhi requesting him to implement article 1 of Law 71 of 2017 and the rest of the articles of this law to declare the nullity of the decision issued by the Olympic Committee on October 4, 2020, which includes suspending me from practice. Any activity for a period of 4 years, which is the same decision that was previously repealed by the Court of Justice of Egypt two years ago, and the memorandum included that in case the decision of the Olympic Committee is not declared null, it will be a negative decision that I have the right to appeal to the Administrative Court.

Therefore, I call on the masses of all affiliations to unite not behind Mortada Mansour, but behind our country, Egypt, in the circumstances it is going through, and trampling traitors and agents who are trying to various ways create chaos in our homeland, and you have all the thanks, appreciation and respect.
