Zamalek Legal Counsel: Disciplinary decision cannot be enforced.

Mahmoud Al-Assal, legal adviser to the Zamalek club, said the Disciplinary Committee cannot impose disciplinary punishment on Murtaza Mansour, president of the white club.

The Zamalek Club’s legal advisor added, in statements on the “Zamalek” screen: “Mortada Mansour possesses immunity and, according to the law, no disciplinary sanction can be imposed on Mortada Mansour.”

He explained: “A member of the House of Representatives in which there are two attributes of a member of the House of Representatives and a public servant has immunity, so it is not allowed to impose disciplinary sanctions before obtaining the permission of the House of Representatives. “.

He continued: “Mortada Mansour is exposed to provocations due to various null decisions issued against him.”

The Zamalek club advisor also spoke about the club’s penalty for deducting three points from the football team’s balance after refusing to go to Al-Ahly’s match at the top of the first round of the Egyptian league.

In this regard, Zamalek’s advisor explained: “The Football Association made a disaster because it relied on regulations and ignored other regulations.”

He continued: “According to article 45, the team is considered retired in three cases, and Zamalek is considered identical to him in the second case, but the Football Association imposed the sanction on the club without explaining the reasons for the withdrawal to appear for investigation” .

He concluded: “Mortada Mansour in close quarters is considered a man of law and a state because he ignores many invalid decisions. My message to the Football Association is not to settle accounts and we will respond with documents on the punishment.”

It should be noted that the Egyptian Football Association issued a decision after the Al-Ahly match, considering Zamalek defeated in the match, with the elimination of three points from the team’s balance after the end of the current season (2019-2020).
