Zamalek in response to Carteron’s return

Hussein Al-Samri, a member of the Zamalek Club Executive Committee, responded to the attack on the Council following the decision to return Patrice Carteron to lead the team again.

And he continued: “The fans would have demanded the dismissal of Pacheco if he did not win Esperance, and one of the reasons for hiring Carteron is to teach him every little and every great atmosphere of the team.”

He concluded: “The current committee is hurt by its lack of a sporting background, and life was not rosy for us.”

The current Zamalek board decided, after the Ceramica Cleopatra match, to remove the Portuguese coach, Jaime Pacheco, from his position, with the return of French Patrice Carteron at the head of the team.

Carteron’s start was not perfect after losing to Esperance Tunisia, with an unanswered goal, so Zamalek scored two points in third place, instead, within the “Bab Souika” team, qualifying for the next round. .
