Journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that Tunisian club Zamalek midfielder Ferjani Sassi has a fabulous offer from Al-Duhail, Qatar, to join his ranks in the next period.
A source from the Zamalek club had previously stated that the administration had managed to secure the late fees for Ferjani Sassi.
Al-Ghandour said on Zamalek TV: “If Sassi had not put the arrears on his account, he would have left and moved to Al-Duhail, Qatar. This is his right as he is a professional player.”
He added: “He is also a respected player, as well as his agent. They rejected Zamalek’s complaint before the Al-Raja and Al-Ahly matches, and his agent said that at that time the tournament is more important than money.”
He stressed that “Al-Duhail, the Qatari, offered Ferjani Sassi a” kharafi “salary that could not be imagined without the player paying taxes.
And he continued: “Sassi continues with Zamalek until the end of the season, he collected his fees and cannot file any complaint for the termination of the contract. Now it is in his hands, either renewing or leaving at the end of the season.”
“Management managed to preserve Sassi for the end of the season initially,” he said.
He continued: “Everyone in the Zamalek club wants Sassi to continue. The fans love him very much and his wife loves Egypt too. Sassi’s survival is a requirement for everyone, but in the end the Qatari offer is very great, and Zamalek did. an exceptional offer different from the one he made to any other player. “
“Sassi has requests,” he concluded, “the economic compensation must be net and does not bear taxes or fees related to the registration or development of resources, and therefore the amount will be large, and wants to sign a contract for a period of 3 years Here’s an offer and a request, and we’ll see what happens. “
