Zamalek TV revealed that Mostafa Mohamed, the team’s striker, received an offer from Pyramids under which he would receive a salary of up to 100 million pounds over three seasons.

Media Khaled Al-Ghandour said on his “Zamalekawi” program: “Before the arrival of the French offer from Saint Etienne to include Mustafa Mohamed, Pyramids made an offer to the player with a salary of 30 million pounds per season, equivalent to 100 million pounds in three years. “

He added: “Mustafa Mohamed rejected them definitively, mainly because he rejects the idea of playing in Egypt except for the Zamalek club, and wants to experience external professionalism.”

He continued: “I tell Pyramids officials (default), you have the right to negotiate with a player if his contract expires or is six months from the end, and it is not correct to negotiate with a player who has a contract with the club.”

Al-Ghandour concluded by saying: “It is also incorrect to report that Youssef Obama signed Pyramids, especially that the player agreed with Zamalek to renew his contract and is waiting for the contractor and will sign it within a week, knowing that his contract expires next August.”

Zamalek had asked for an amount of $ 6 million to sell to Mustafa Mohamed during the upcoming winter transfer period, confirming that no official offer had come in to join the player.

Zamalek are preparing to face Smouha tomorrow Monday at the Army Stadium in Burj Al Arab, in the third round of the Egyptian League Championship.

The Whites are reported to have started their career in league competition by defeating the Arab Contractors with two unanswered goals, before drawing Pyramids in the round of 16 with one goal for each team.
