A source from the Football Association revealed that there were contacts with the African Football Confederation (CAF) for not signing the withdrawal sanctions for the youth team, following the decision to withdraw from the North African qualifiers. The source said that the Football Association seeks to agree with the CAF not to sign the withdrawal sanctions that stipulate Prevent the retired team from participating in the following qualifying rounds and fine them financially.

The source pointed out that the CAF will consider the youth withdrawn due to oppressive circumstances, especially since the team was already sanctioned in the Libyan match, for being considered a loser.

While the tripartite committee in charge of the management of the Egyptian Football Association, headed by Eng.
