Moroccan press reports confirmed the absence of the trio Anas Al-Zeniti, Abdel Jalil Djebira and Mohamed Dweik, players of the Moroccan club Raja, from being in the face of Zamalek.

And according to the Moroccan website Le360, the trio still had their coronavirus samples testing positive, preventing them from traveling to Cairo.

The website indicated that the Raja Mission had already left Moroccan territory without the presence of the wounded trio on board.

Al-Zeniti is Raja’s main goalkeeper, while left-back Jubeirah and Dweik, the defensive midfielder, missed the team in the previous match against Zamalek.

The Raja delegation headed to Cairo on Monday in preparation for their meeting with Zamalek next Wednesday, in the second leg of the African Champions League semi-finals.

The return match between Zamalek and Raja had been postponed twice before, due to the impossibility of the Moroccan team to travel to Cairo, due to the multiple infections of its players by the Corona virus.

Notably, Zamalek managed to defeat Raja in Morocco with a clean goal, in the first leg of the African final.
