The transfer of Al-Ahly player Ahmed Fathi to the ranks of the Pyramids has been developing rapidly in the past few hours.
A source said in exclusive statements to “Yalla Koura” that the Pyramids club had concluded its agreement with Ahmed Fathi for the player to get the contractor, after rejecting Al-Ahly’s offer to renew two seasons and obtain 11 million pounds in tax per season.
The source again clarified that the administration of the Pyramids demanded that Fathi terminate the contract between them despite the contractor’s payment, and this was due to the desire of the Croatian coach, Anti Cacic.
He hinted that the Croatian coach rejected the deal for what he described as “an older player.”
A source clarified to “Yalla Koura” that various mediators are trying to persuade Mahmoud Al-Khatib, head of the Al-Ahly club, to forgive the player and return negotiations between the red giant and Fathi, to renew his contract.
Turki Al-Sheikh, Honorary President of Al-Ahly, and former owner of the Pyramid Club, wrote two mysterious letters during the recent period.
The first message came to Turki: “Has he gone with anyone? Didn’t I discover that the gameplay is very dangerous ?! We see a ball.”
And he followed up with another message in the early hours of Friday: “Did you knock on the door again? A third of the price is supposed to start now.”
