“Yallakora” publishes the list of the Egyptian handball team in the World Championship

The Egyptian Handball Federation has sent to the International Federation the list of the Egyptian national team that will participate in the 27th World Championship to be held in Egypt from January 13 to 31.

The list includes 35 players, of which the coaching staff selects 20 players at the technical meeting before the start of the tournament.

The tournament regulation stipulates that 20 players are chosen out of 35, in the technical meeting that precedes the start of the tournament, and each team has the right to substitute five players during the entire tournament, and in addition each team has the right to change any Injured player from the extended list without counting him from among the five substitutions, up to a maximum of 10. It should be noted that the Egyptian team is located in Group G, which also includes the teams of Sweden, the Czech Republic and Chile, and will begin its journey in the World Championship against Chile at 7:00 p.m. on January 13 at the main hall of the hall complex of the Cairo International Stadium.

Egypt will host the tournament with the participation of 32 teams for the first time in the history of the world championships, and the matches will take place in four rooms: the main hall of the hall complex in the International Stadium of Cairo, the City Sports in the New Administrative Capital, the Dr. Hassan Mustafa complex in the 6th of October City and the Burj Al Arab Hall in Alexandria.
