The Moroccan Wydad will receive his counterpart, Al-Ahly, in a high-caliber confrontation, at 9:00 pm this Saturday, at the “Mohamed V” stadium, in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals African of the current season 2019-2020.
The Moroccan newspaper, Al-Mukhtab, reviewed the expected formation of the Wydad team, against Al-Ahly, tonight’s confrontation, after the absence of midfielder Salah El-Din Al-Saeedi was confirmed, after he was infected of the new Corona virus, and was excluded from the team field.
The formation of the expected Moroccan team, in front of the red giant, came as follows:
Goalkeeper: Reda Teknouti
Defense: Abd al-Latif Nusair, Yahya Atiyat Allah, Sheikh Kumara Ibrahim Najm al-Din
Midfield: Yahya Gibran, Walid Al-Karti, Ayman Al-Hassouni
Offensive line: Badi Awok, Ismail Al-Haddad, Kazadi Kasengu
Al-Ahly had qualified for the semi-finals of the African Champions League, at the expense of South African team Sun Downs, with a score of 3-1, on aggregate round trips, while Wydad managed to overtake the star Tunisian from the Sahel, with a score of 2-1, on aggregate of the two games.
The other confrontation will take place in the semifinal of the African Champions League, Sunday morning, between Raja and his guest Zamalek, at the “Mohammed V” stadium, at nine o’clock at night.
It should be noted that the return match will bring together Moroccan Al-Ahly and Wydad, on October 23, in Cairo.
