A statement noted that the number of cases whose laboratory results have been transformed from positive to negative for Corona virus (Covid-19) increased to 2,041 cases, including the 1562 recovered..

He added that 272 new cases, positive from laboratory tests of the virus, were registered as part of the ministry’s surveillance and investigation procedures, according to WHO guidelines, which point to the death of 14 new cases..

He said that all registered HIV positive cases in isolation and quarantine hospitals are subject to medical care, according to WHO guidelines.

He stated that the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Sunday, is 6,465 cases, including 1,562 cases that have been cured and discharged from isolation and quarantine hospitals, and 429 deaths..

The Ministry of Health and Population continues to increase its preparations in all provinces, follows the situation first hand with respect to the “emerging crown” virus and takes all necessary precautions against any virus or infectious disease, as the “105” hotline and “15335” have been assigned to receive inquiries from citizens about an emerging and infectious diseases Corona virus.
