The World Health Organization confirmed that the new strain of the Coronavirus that causes the “Covid-19” infection has been detected in 8 European countries, calling for the tightening of the necessary preventive measures.

Kluge added that “the World Health Organization continues to monitor and will provide further updates”, emphasizing that “solidarity is key.”
The official stated that “it seems that this version, unlike previous strains, is spreading among the younger age groups”, stressing that “surveillance is important during the continuation of the analysis to determine the extent of its impact.”
And British Health Minister Matt Hancock announced on December 14 that British scientists had discovered a new strain of the Corona virus called “B.1.1.7”, while Prime Minister Boris Johnson the 19 of this month, he said it could be more infection by 70%, according to preliminary data, but noted that there is no data to indicate that this strain is more deadly.
This fact led to the announcement of several countries in the world, including Russia, to suspend flights with the United Kingdom.
