With the participation of Al-Ahly, FIFA announces the calendar of matches and stadiums for the World Cup

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced the stadiums and schedule for the FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in Qatar next February, with the participation of Egypt’s Al-Ahly, champions of the African Champions League.

(FIFA) confirmed that the stadiums (City of Education – Ahmed Bin Ali – Khalifa International) will host the matches of the FIFA Club World Cup during the period from February 1 to February 11.

It was decided that the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium will host the opening match between Qatari champion Al Duhail and the city of Auckland, New Zealand, on February 1 at 7:30 Cairo local time, and the final match will be played in the Education City Stadium on the eleventh of the same month at eight at night.

Officially, six teams have been identified as participating in the FIFA Club World Cup competition: Al-Ahly (African Champions League champion) – Bayern Munich (European Champions League champion) – Ulsan Hyundai (AFC Champions League champion) – Auckland City (Oceania champion) – Mexico’s Tigres Unal (CONCACAF champion) and Al Duhail host the tournament.

First round: Monday, February 1

7:30 – Al Duhail Qatar vs Auckland City, New Zealand

Second round: Thursday, February 4

The winner of the match Al-Duhail and Auckland City will face one of the following teams (African Champions League champion “Al-Ahly” – AFC Champions League champion “Ulsan Hyundai” – Mexico Tigers) , provided that the other two teams meet in the second match as follows:

4:00 – Team A vs Team B.

Stadium: Khalifa Sports Stadium

7:30 – Team C vs Team D.

Fifth-place team match: Sunday, February 7

The two losing teams from the second round matches will meet to determine fifth and sixth place.

The game will take place at 5 pm on February 7 at Education City Stadium.

Sunday February 7:

The South American champions (to be decided on January 30, 2021) will face one of the finalists of the second round (according to drawing) at the Khalifa International Stadium.

Monday February 8:

Bayern Munich will face the other team, classified in the second round, at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.

Thursday, February 11:
