Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, revealed the position of the study in the event of a second wave of the Corona pandemic.
Shawky said, in televised remarks made Tuesday: “If there is a second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, the quotas will not stop on television, and we will address the situation at that time. We must know that this is an exceptional year and we follow the day of the day of the developments of the pandemic. “
The Minister of Education indicated that the Ministry made a great effort and made a strategic decision to start the new school year in light of measures to reduce the density of students to protect against the emerging pandemic of the corona virus.
Dr. Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, had issued a periodic book on the curriculum of the basic education stages for the new 2020/2021 academic year, in light of the exceptional circumstances due to the spread of the Coronavirus .
The plan is based on multiple sources of learning while taking precautionary measures to ensure the preservation of the public health of students without affecting the curriculum by operating schools for one or two periods depending on the density of the school, with the need to ensure that the interval between students within classes is not less than one meter at least.

Controls to study within the school:
School attendance. Five or six days as usual in previous years in case of social distancing, but if this is not possible, the minimum attendance is two days a week for grades from fourth of primary to third year of secondary, as for grades from kindergarten to third. Primary school attendance days are no less than four days per week in schools that operate a period, even if necessary, to provide safe distances in the spacing, stipulated, the school will operate in two shifts and the days of attendance it will be three days a week.
The curricular distribution plan of each subject for the first semester in a period of (14) weeks, according to the approved schedule.
– The lessons assigned to schools are the application, discussion and evaluation of what was explained through educational channels for basic subjects, as well as an explanation of the rest of study materials and activities that are not disseminated through educational channels .
