The French daily “le10sport” asked if Paris Saint-Germain could attract Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s English star, to the Stade des Princes.
Salah raised doubts about his future after an interview he gave to the Spanish newspaper “AS” over the weekend, during which he spoke about his situation in Liverpool, and his position on playing for both poles in Spain.
“Who knows what may happen in the future,” said the Egyptian player during the interview when asked about playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona.
The statements did not go unnoticed in England, and reports began to speculate on Salah’s situation in Liverpool, with some indicating that the club had begun to think about improving the Egyptian player’s contract, while others said that Liverpool had already started look for a replacement for the Reds star.
The newspaper said that Paris Saint-Germain is like Real Madrid and Barcelona, so the French club can become an outlet for the Egyptian player who raised questions about his future at Liverpool.
“Le10sport” explained in his report that Paris could be one of the options available to Salah if he decided to leave Anfield, and wondered if the French club’s management would be able to attract the Egyptian player to Princes’ Stadium next summer.
It is worth noting that Salah’s contract with Liverpool will end at the end of June 2023.
