Werner misses a goal strangely achieved before the resounding fall of Germany to North Macedonia (video)

North Macedonia won a resounding surprise on Wednesday, beating their German team 2-1 in the third round of the European qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

North Macedonia advanced in the 45th minute, aiming to bear the signature of veteran Goran Pandev, before Ilkay Gundogan tied the score for Germany from a penalty kick, in the 63rd minute.

Then the German team took control of the game, and their forward Timo Werner had the opportunity to score a goal for “Manschaft”, in the 79th minute, when he received a ball on a gold plate inside the penalty area, to find himself se he faced the goalkeeper, but he replaced the ball, in the net he threw into the air so that the ball strangely passed in front of the goal and went out of the field.

North Macedonia punished their German team, for wasting this opportunity, by scoring the second goal and winning, in the 85th minute, through Elif Elmas.

With this defeat, Germany fell to third place in Group X by stopping at 6 points, to take North Macedonia to second place on goal difference, while Armenia is the only one in the group, with 9 points.
