North Macedonia won a resounding surprise on Wednesday, beating their German team 2-1 in the third round of the European qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

With this defeat, Germany fell to third place in Group X by stopping at 6 points, to take North Macedonia to second place on goal difference, while Armenia is the only one in the group, with 9 points.
