Starting tomorrow, Monday, the hotels will host weddings, seminars, conferences, meetings and parties in their open areas, after a 6-month hiatus due to the Corona pandemic.
Masrawy monitors the most prominent wedding controls in hotels, in implementation of the decisions of the Ministries of Tourism and Health, in order to preserve the general health of inmates, hotel workers and guests, the most important of which are :
1- The need to implement preventive measures to preserve the general health of inmates, hotel workers and guests.
2- Celebration of weddings in the open spaces of the hotel (gardens and around swimming pools).
3- The continuous sterilization of the places where weddings and parties will take place.
4- The presence of 300 people with joy (the festivities), provided that the place where the ceremony takes place is double.
5- Measure the temperature for everyone present with joy when entering the hotel.
6- Prevent anyone whose temperature is above the normal range from attending.
7 – Sterilization of participants to attend the celebration or scheduled event.
8- Prevent the entry of people without a muzzle to preserve public health.
9- The presence of intensive sterilizers and disinfection tools in the place where the joy is located.
10- Require workers to wear a mask and gloves while they are in the hotel until the joy ends.
11- Spacing between tables and leaving spaces between chairs at a table.
12- Educate attendees not to have large gatherings during the joy.
13- The need for attendees to follow preventive and precautionary measures.
14- Cancellation of joy by the owner of the hotel or hall if the precautionary measures and the terms of the contract are violated.
15- Do not overcrowd the buffet.
16- In the case of a “free buffet”, the hotel staff pack plates for the assistants.
17- The need to have single-use tools to eat.
For his part, Hisham Wahba, member of the Chamber of Tourist Establishments, confirmed that the return of hotels to receive weddings, seminars, conferences and meetings, and the opening of health clubs, represents a return of all hotel activities to the they were before the Corona crisis.
Wahba explained to “Masrawy” that the return from weddings, conferences and parties in the open areas of the hotels helps them to bear operating costs in light of the hotel’s current occupancy.
He pointed out that this sector employs a fleet of workers, among which are the owners of flowers, kosha, “DJ”, butterfly, electricity, pastry chefs, musicians, singers, bakeries, Pepsi, Cola, water and alliances.
Wehbe added: “More than 5 million workers who have been in the supermarket for 6 months staying at home, take possession of the day and the money with them runs out. They must be employed before it is too late, and there are many salons of weddings in Egypt, a lot. “
Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, had decided to allow the resumption of wedding celebrations in open places, in tourist and hotel establishments that obtained a health safety certificate, with a maximum of 300 people.
